Eliot Hayes is Director of Research at
Laurel Grove Capital. He is also a Chartered
Financial Analyst and a Principal.
After graduating from the University of California
at Berkeley in 1992, Eliot began his career in the
investment business as an analyst for Hayes
Management Corporation. He later became head
trader at South Coast Financial Securities, Inc.,
where he gained experience in the trading end
of the equity markets. He then returned to Hayes
Management, where he was a Research Analyst
and Portfolio Manager until he joined Laurel Grove
Capital in 2002.
In addition to his duties as Research Analyst, Eliot also
serves as a Portfolio Manager and Trader. He is a member
of the CFA Institute, and past President of the CFA
Society of Orange County.
Eliot is active in the Huntington Library Society of
Fellows and in the Young Literati, a support
organization for the Los Angeles Public Library.
